10 years educator in Chinese College and 15+ years educator in the US. Familiar in education for both sides. Shirley wants to assist students to not only achieve a strong foundation but also advance ahead of their school grade level by mastering the skills & abilities required to achieve excellent results efficiently. Through education, there will be a big difference in family and community!
Critical Reading and Writing
Seasoned educator, wife and mother of two, Jacquelyn is an avid reader and a lover of all things science. Teaching for over 30 years, starting with preschool, and now third grade to high school, she’s creative and multifaceted in an array of subjects, plus speech and debate coaching, including experience with health and emotional counseling. Ms. Jacquelyn gained her BA in Psychology, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Doctorate in Metaphysical Sciences.
Mr. Fagan is the former director of Dougherty Valley High School Debate Program and a founding member of SRVUSD Bridge Program for middle school student, currently he is the head coach of Amador Valley High School. He is also a program director for UC Berkeley National Summer Debate Institute. Under his coach and leadership, his students received numerous regional and national level rewards, Stanford Invitational JV Lincoln Douglas Champion, California middle school champion tournament semi-finalist etc.
Graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of National Taiwan Normal University. She has taught Chinese language at Hualien Yuli HS and Taipei Fuxing HS and has been invited to teach spiritual and spiritual growth courses in various various government and private institutions. After more than 20 years Chinese teaching experience, Ms. Chih mainly teaches high grade Chinese and Chinese AP for overseas students.
Coach Shreeya Kar
Debate/Public Speech Coach
Ms. Shreeya has been participating in speech and debate tournaments herself since she was in sixth grade. She and her debate partner received several debate awards during their middle school years at tournaments such as Santa Clara University and Stanford Invitationals, and Shreeya herself placed 10th out of all competitors at Stanford's Debate Invitational. Shreeya was also Head Captain of EVHS's Public Forum Debate Team for two years. She has taught elementary schoolers and middle schoolers speech and debate since she was in 9th grade, she is passionate about teaching children speech and debate skills they will carry with them lifelong.
Coach Steven Luo
Debate/Public Speech Coach
Coach Steven Luo has been debating for many years, and coached Speech & Debate to elementary schoolers and middle schoolers. He has won awards at distinguished tournaments, including the Stanford Invitational (Octofinalist, 2nd Place Speaker), Stephen Stewart Invitational (4th Place, 2nd Place Speaker), and SCU (Semifinalist, 3rd Place). In addition to debate, Steven has won awards in Model United Nations, has received multiple Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, and enjoys playing the flute and piano.

Graduated from Dalian University with BS in Primary Education, has teacher’s credential and now is specializing in Children Education. Ms. Karena has more than 12 years of experience in teaching and 2 years of online course enrollment management. Strong communication skill, sense of responsibility and team spirit.
Graduated from Fine Art Department of Sichuan Fine Art Institute, Mr. Xiaochang Zhang is currently the Guest Professor and Painter contracted by American Galleries. In the last 10 years, Mr. Zhang won 2 Gold Awards and 1 Silver Award from the National Association of Fine Arts in the US, and was awarded the first place in the Best Watercolor of the Year in the US by the authoritative watercolor magazine for 2 times. His students have won 2 top-level awards and multiple silver awards in the US Congress and Scholastic Art and Writing Contest.
Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music with a Master degree of choral conducting, member of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association). Mr. Deng previously held faculty positions in Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Theatre Academy and Shanghai Student Performing Arts Troupe. He conducted numerous choral concerts across Continents of Europe, Australia, North America and Asia in last decade. In the 8th World Choir Games held in Riga, Latvia in 2014, The Spring Children’s Chorus from Shanghai, China led by Wenbo Deng won the Gold Medal First Prize for the ‘Children’s Choirs’ group and Third Prize for religious group at the Champions Competition.
